November 5 & 19 (Friday) - Pyrohy Sale!
Only 2 pyrohy sales left before Thankgiving, please call the church hall at 412-678-2206 to place your order by Friday morning. Hand-made fresh, with butter & cooked onions, our pyrohy are $8/dozen. Walk-ins are welcomed, but quantity can only be guaranteed for advanced orders. Volunteers are always needed, and get 1 dozen for only $1! Come on over and get a few dozen for your Thanksgiving feast!

November 7 (Sunday) - Treat your tastebuds to a Roast Pork Dinner - Mmmm!
St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Catholic church of 204 Olivia St. in McKees Rocks (Bottoms) is holding this delicious dinner event from 12-5pm. Also featuring a Bake Sale, Chinese Auction and cash bar. Take-outs are available. Please call 412-331-5605 for information or to order. Cost is $8 for adults and $4 for kids under 12.

November 10 (Wednesday) - Special Veteran's Day Celebration
McKeesport Area High School is honoring all Veterans (war and peacetime) with a patriotic presentation in their auditorium at 9:30AM. The school band, choir, and orchestra will all salute our area veterans with special performances. A light reception will follow the ceremony in the High School's lobby area for all Veterans.

November 13 (Saturday) - Eastern Catholic Men's Conference
Sponsored by the Byzantine Catholic Eparchy of Parma at St. John the Baptist Byz. Catholic Cathedral Complex in Parma, Ohio. Dynamic speakers, fellowship, and a Hierarchical Divine Liturgy with Bishop John Kudrick. Confessions will be available throughout the day. Cost is $30 and includes lunch. This Conference is open to all men, regardless of rite. Young men 13-17 may attend for free, but must be accompanied by their father or adult male chaperone. November 13 (Saturday) - Night at the Races!
Holy Trinity Ukr. Catholic Church on 730 Washington Avenue in Carnegie is hosting this fun event. Food includes a buffet, beverages, desserts. Buffet starts at 5:30pm. Admission is $10, must be age 18 and over to enter! First race is at 7pm. Also featured: 50/50 hourly raffles, and Ukrainian auction raffles. Buy & name your own horse for just $10.
