1. April 18 - Pickup Day for Good Samaritan's Bake Sale orders. Orders may be picked up at St. John's after 12noon.


2. HOLY WEEK: Please also refer to the calendar for main schedule of services.

• April 20 - Holy Confession Service. Please join us after Stations of the Cross for Holy Confession. This is the last chance before Easter Sunday! Please join us for a little "spring-cleaning" for the soul.


• April 21 - Holy Thursday: Divine Liturgy with Vespers held at 7 pm.


• April 22 - Good Friday: Chanting of the Passion at 10, followed by Vespers and procession of the Holy Shroud at 12 noon. There is a strict dietary fast today of no meat or dairy products.


• April 23 - Holy Saturday: church will be open for Veneration of the Platynychya (Holy Shroud) from 10am - 6pm. Easter food baskets will be blessed at 6pm, please arrive early to get a nice spot at the tables in the church hall and bring your candles & matches!

3. April 24 - PASCHA Sunday! CHRIST is RISEN!

8:30am - Resurrection Matins and Procession.

9:30am - Divine Liturgy celebration. Please join us in celebrating this joyful occasion as a parish family!

4. April 26 - Ecumenical Panychida for 25th Anniversary of Chernobyl Disaster. Holy Trinity parish on 730 Washington Avenue in Carnegie is holding this memorial service at 7 pm. Please come & pray for those still suffering the after-effects of the tragedy. 5. May 8 - Save the Date! Annual Pascha dinner is held from 11am - 2pm in church hall, immediatle after Sunday Liturgy. Cost is adults = $8, kids 10 & under = $4. Meal includes, traditional stuffed cabbage, kolbasi, ham, potatoes & veggies, cheese, eggs, pascha bread, hot/cold beverages and variety of homemade desserts. Tickets sold after each weekend liturgy, with take-outs available by advanced order. No tickets sold day of dinner! Please see sign-up sheet for desserts in vestibule.
